CragLocal

Climb more. Explore local.

Every climbing region gets its own living guidebook.

CragLocal gives each climbing region its own living guidebook — maintained in real time by the people who actually climb there. Never out of date.

Android app coming soon — meanwhile, use the web app in your browser (Hvar only).

Our mission

Current for climbers. Rewarding for locals.

CragLocal exists to give every climbing region a living, locally maintained guide — so climbers always have current, trustworthy information, and the communities who maintain the climbing benefit from the climbers who come.

Never out of date

A smaller guide that's current is worth more than a bigger one that's stale. Regions are updated by locals the moment something changes.

Regions keep their identity

Each region should feel like its own climbing app — Hvar's app, not our app about Hvar.

Powered by locals

The people who bolt the routes and keep the trails open are the ones who keep the guide current — and they benefit from the climbers who come.

For climbers

What's in the app

The guide, the logbook and the local beta — all in one place.

Living guidebooks

Crags, sectors and routes with grades, lengths, approach notes and access info — kept current by the locals who climb there.

Interactive maps

Every crag located on the map — find the wall, the parking and the way in.

Works offline

Download a region before you drive out. Routes, topos and your logbook keep working at the crag, and anything you log syncs when you're back online.

Route logbook

Tick routes as you send them — with style, date and stars.

Your dashboard

A grade pyramid, your log history, and a map of every crag you've climbed.

Community grades

Ratings and proposed grades from climbers who've actually been on the route.

Regional news

Access changes, closures and new routes from the people who maintain them — with optional notifications for the region you're climbing.

Local services & chat

Guides, gear, food and beds on the community map. Partners and beta in the region chat.
